She was born Dec. 27, 1925, in Yakima, Wash. to her parents John and Ina (Crayne) Cole.
Chris grew up in Toppenish, Wash. and graduated from Toppenish High School with the class of 1945. Following graduation, she worked as a teller at Seafirst Bank in Toppenish. She later became head teller at Old National Bank in Sunnyside, Wash.
On Feb. 11, 1950, she married Harold F. Snow at her grandfather’s home in Toppenish. Chris and Harold began their married life living on a 50-acre farm in Outlook, Wash., raising Suffolk sheep.
