John Dennis Bottineau


John “Dennis” Bottineau, 63, a longtime Sunnyside resident died Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, in Richland.

Dennis was born on Sept. 11, 1955 in Wenatchee, the son of John and Janice Coder Bottineau. He received his education in Sunnyside and graduated from Sunnyside High School. He later attended Columbia Basin College for 2 years.

Dennis had been employed at the Hanford Project as Security Patrolman for 30 years. He also enjoyed white water rafting and was a white water rafting guide.

Dennis is survived by 2 sons Brent Bottineau and Angelica of Richland, and Ryan Bottineau of Pasco, WA. and six grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Janice Bottineau of Prosser, a sister Deanna Potter and Lynn of Sunnyside, and a brother Ken Bottineau and Irma of Richland.

He is preceded in death by his father John Bottineau who died Oct. 27, 1974, and one brother Michael Bottineau.

Memorial funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019 at the Grandview High School Gym in Grandview.
