— A local man is facing forgery and theft charges after finding and using another man’s credit card to make purchases.

Alberto Dwight Schrader, 21, of Wapato, was charged in Yakima County Superior Court yesterday with second-degree possession of stolen property and forgery.

Schrader is accused of using the credit card of Noe Abraham Mendez, who told police he lost his wallet and with it his credit card on Jan. 5, court records show.

The card was allegedly used at Xpress mart, Allen’s market and Four Directions, court records show. Wapato police obtained surveillance video of the transactions.
