Busy police: 12 arrests in less than 24 hours

From about 9 a.m. Wednesday to about 8 a.m. Thursday, police here made 12 arrests for various violations.

At 8:55 a.m. Wednesday, Jonathan Paul Soria, 27, of 1318 S. 9th Ave. Yakima, was arrested on a hold for the Yakima Department of Corrections.

At 8:05 a.m. Thursday, officers picked up an unidentified suspect of communication with a minor for immoral purposes.

The Sunnyside Jail was housing 61 inmates at that time.

At 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, police arrested Antonio Sanchez Carrazco Jr., 26, of 910 E. Lincoln. Ave. on a hold for Toppenish Police.

At 10:36 a.m. Wednesday, Maria Guadalupe Magan Valencia, 40, of 300 Wilson Highway in Grandview, was arrested for third-degree driving while license suspended or revoked.

At 12:42 p.m. Wednesday, Brad Jason Anicello, 41, of 21819 100th Ave. SE Kent, was arrested on an Ellensburg court commitment.

At 12:54 p.m. Wednesday, police picked up Grant Kyle Morris, of 1103 W. 5th Ave. Ellensburg, on an Ellensburg court commitment.

At 1:06 p.m. Wednesday, officers took in Cameron Michael, 31, of 704 N. Water St. Ellensburg, on an Ellensburg court commitment.

At 1:16 p.m. Wednesday, officers arrested Carl Wade Walcom, 46, of 101 Wilson Creek Road, Ellensburg, on an Ellensburg court commitment.

At 7:39 p.m. Wednesday, police arrested Kimberlee Ann McKenzie, 36, of 70 G St. Outlook for a drug paraphernalia violation and second-degree criminal trespass.

At 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, Ruben Roman Jr. II, 22, of 1410 Idabelle Lane Sunnyside, was arrested for furnishing liquor to a minor, possession and consumption of methamphetamines and possession of more than 40 grams of marijuana.

At 1 a.m. Thursday, an unidentified person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

At 4:50 a.m. Thursday, Ashley Dawn Hill, 30, of 110 Berney Road Grandview, was arrested for driving while license suspended or revoked.
