U-2 pilot to speak

— Tomorrow, U.S. Air Force U-2 pilot Maj. Kristofer W. Duckett will deliver a presentation at The Museum of Flight.

Duckett has served more than 22 years in the Air Force, and is currently with the 99th Reconnaissance Squadron at Beale AFB, Calif.

The squadron employs U-2s in operations for high altitude intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. Duckett has flown combat and combat support missions, and humanitarian relief and recovery missions throughout the world.

At his 2 p.m. presentation Duckett will describe how he earned the coveted role of mission pilot, and how he overcame obstacles to live his dream.
