Food drive ‘successful’

— The boys of Boy Scout Troop 643 happy with the results of their food drive held on Jan. 27 at the Grandview Safeway store.

“We collected 1,100 pounds of food and $144 in cash donations,” Scout parent Jan Farnsworth said.

The Scouts conducted the food drive as a celebration of Scouting’s 108th birthday and to continue service to the community.

The collected food and cash was given to the Grandview Food Bank at the Salvation Army.
