Grizzlies led by Anderson

— The Sunnyside girls swim team lost its dual meets against Eisenhower, 52-126, and Davis, 62-122.

In spite of the losses, there were some bright spots, including a first-place scoring against each of those teams by diver Lia Anderson. She finished her dives with 138.35 points. Venessa Batad of the Cadets scored 93.65, and Fiona Dunbar of the Pirates scored 122.95.

Brielle Newhouse was second to both the Cadets and Pirates in the 100-yard breaststroke, clocking 1:18.57.

Teammate Allison Davis was second in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle races against the Pirates, finishing in 28.97 and 1:04.43, respectively. Those times were good for third against the Cadets.

The Sunnyside 200-yard medley and 200-yard freestyle relay teams also earned second-place finishes against both of the other schools.
