TOPPENISH A Zillah man was arrested Friday night at 580 Fort Road after allegedly passing a bag of methamphetamine to a woman.
Kyle Ross Heintz, 30, was charged in Yakima County Superior Court on Monday with possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine.
According to a police report, 4.0 grams of methamphetamine were found in his jacket pocket after he allegedly handed the substance to his girlfriend, Katie Bell, who then put it back in his pocket as police watched.
Police said Bell said the contraband belonged to Heintz and that he had given it to her at Legend’s Casino. A surveillance video later confirmed her story, records show.
Both Heintz and Bell were issued trespass warnings prohibiting them from returning to the casino.
