SUNNYSIDE Daylraye Hutchinson just completed her first year at Washington State University in the nursing program, so word that she was receiving her second PEO Chapter EX Scholarship was “very welcome” this week.
“I’ll be using the money to help with next year’s tuition, she said of the $1,000 scholarship.
This is her second time earning the philanthropic education organization’s scholarship, scholarship chairman Yvonne Sikes said.
While at WSU, Hutchinson made the dean’s list while working on her nursing degree.
Currently, she is taking Certified Nursing Assistant classes in hopes of finding a summer job to help with college expenses.
