Students plan Pow Wow

— Heritage University chapter of the American Indian Business Leaders and the Native American Club will host the second All Nations Student Powwow, a free event to promote cultural exchange and education.

The powwow will be at the campus, 3240 Fort Road, beginning at 10 a.m. Aug. 26.

Grand entry is at 1 p.m. and a hosted dinner is at 6 p.m.

The event will feature crafts and food vendors, family activities, dancing and drumming and more.

Organizers are looking for volunteers to help with parking, registration and hosting guests.
