Crash injures Lyle man

— A Lyle man is recovering from injuries he suffered yesterday when his vehicle flipped over on state Highway 97.

Corey D. Strain, 20, was southbound in a 2006 Ford pick-up when it left the roadway and flipped, the Washington State Patrol said.

Strain was injured and taken to Klickitat Valley Hospital, troopers said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation and charges are pending, troopers said. Drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash and Strain was wearing a seat belt.
