PROSSER A national store chain with a local retail store is donating $77,000 for epilepsy research and awareness.
Shopko announced the donation last week.
“We are committed to supporting families in the hometowns we are privileged to serve, including those living with epilepsy,” CEO Peter McMahon said.
The funds will benefit Lemonade for Livy. It started in 2011 as a small initiative to help Olivia “Livy” Scheinman, and now it has become the official campaign for the Epilepsy Foundation.
