Contests seeks entries

— Entries are being accepted for the seventh annual Enterprise Challenge.

The contest will kick off in January.

The contest has helped launch more than 60 successful start-up businesses throughout Yakima and Kittitas counties, officials said.

Those companies combined are employing more than 200 people.

New this year is an online business plan writing tool for contestants.

The winner will receive $10,000. Second- and third-place finishers get $5,000 and $2,500, respectively.
