Provider changes name

— A health care provider has a new name starting today.

Central Washington Comprehensive Mental Health is changing its name to Comprehensive Healthcare.

All offices and programs formerly operating as Central Washington Comprehensive Mental Health will continue offering services under the new name, Comprehensive Healthcare.

“We simply outgrew our name,” Chief Executive Officer Rick Weaver said. “When this organization started 44 years ago, it was 15 people serving parts of two central Washington counties. Today, we are more than 700 people serving 11 counties.”

The new name, Comprehensive Healthcare, positions the agency to continue its growth in a fast changing health care environment, Weaver said.
