Crash injures Prosser man

— PROSSER— A local man is recovering injuries sustained this morning during a crash on state Highway 97, near Toppenish.

Joseph G. Radosevich, 60, was driving a 2005 Toyota Camry southbound at 11:35 a.m. when it went off the roadway and struck a fence, the Washington State Patrol said.

Radosevich was injured and transported to Toppenish Community Hospital, troopers said. He was wearing a seatbelt and drugs or alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash.

Troopers said the crash happened because Radosevich fell asleep at the wheel. He was charged with negligent driving, the State Patrol said.
