University hosting event

— Dr. Edward Taylor of the University of Washington will deliver the keynote speech at Heritage University’s Martin Luther King Day event tomorrow at the main campus.

Taylor has served various roles at the University of Washington since arriving in 1987, and has been at his current position as Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Affairs since 2006.

Heritage University’s Dr. Celestino Limas, Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Services will serve as master of ceremonies.

This year’s event is titled “Find Your Voice: The Celebration of Dr. King’s Legacy.”

The celebration is free and open to the public. It will be held in Smith Family Hall in the Arts and Science Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
