Visiting the past...or the future?

Two DeLoreans were on full display at the Sunnyside Museum yesterday in celebration of “Back to the Future Day,” the date Marty McFly visited in the 1980s time travel movie series. In the movies, McFly and eccentric scientist friend Doc Brown use a time-traveling DeLorean to travel 30 years into the future. On Oct. 21, 2015, the pair find flying cars, self-lacing shoes, hoverboards and the Cubs winning the World Series. Here in the real world, Chris and Lynn Boast of Prosser (L-R) celebrated Oct. 21, 2015 by touring the Lower Valley in their his-and-her DeLoreans. Mr. Boast’s DeLorean has a custom-built flux capacitor in the back (immediate right), while Mrs. Boast’s DeLorean has a dashboard signed by many of the people involved in making the “Back to the Future” movies (below).
