Grandview boys pick up their second win of the year

GRANDVIEW – The Grandview High School boys’ tennis team is 2-for-2 against the Prosser Mustangs this season. Playing on its home courts this past Saturday, the Greyhounds skated past the visiting ‘Stangs, 4-1. Grandview bested Prosser by the same score earlier this season.

Besides it being Grandview’s second victory this spring against Prosser, it was also just the second win the ‘Hounds have claimed this season.

Grandview’s girls weren’t as fortunate as their counterparts. They got blanked by Prosser, 5-0. The GHS girls’ tennis squad fell to 0-12 on the season with Saturday’s loss.

Grandview has just one league match remaining – this coming Tuesday at East Valley High School - before postseason action gets underway a week from this coming Saturday, on May 16.
