Car wash this Saturday to benefit Boy Scouts

GRANDVIEW - Boy Scout Troop 643 of Grandview will be washing cars at Lower Valley Credit Union in Grandview (next to Marchant’s Furniture) this coming Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m.

 All types of vehicles will be washed. Payment is by donation.

 Proceeds from the car wash will be used to fund summer activities for the troop, which includes mountain climbing, a 50-mile backpacking trip, canoeing and merit badge programs.

 Troop 643 is one of the oldest troops in the Lower Valley and is the oldest continuously operating community troop in Grandview.

They are chartered to Bethany Community Church and serve all boys between the ages of 11 and 18.
