GRANDVIEW A couple of area swimmers are among the fastest in the region going into the Christmas break.
The Grandview Greyhounds 200-meter medley relay team has posted the fourth fastest time this season with 2:11.79. The 200 freestyle relay team also posted the fourth fastest time with 1:56.66.
In the 200 freestyle, Nathan Koerner leads all swimmers with a 1:57.34.
Koerner is also third in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.67. Prosser’s Levi Russell is fifth in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:03.85.
And in the 100 breast stroke, Tavian Valenzuela of Grandview is second at 1:09.54.
Meanwhile in boys diving, Sunnyside Christian’s Parker Van De Graff is second with a score of 154.55.
