Adam Oscar Morales, 21, of Sunnyside passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, in Cheney.

Adam was born Dec. 14, 1992 in Sunnyside, the son of Ruben and Mariselda “Marci” (Saldaña) Morales.

He received his education in Grandview, graduating from Grandview High School with the class of 2011.

Adam was currently attending Eastern Washington University majoring in art.

Adam was a very loving and caring person.

He loved spending time with family and friends; whether it was working out with cousins and friends, hanging out with his brothers and father on the golf course, or asking his mom to make his favorite meal when he came to visit from college. He also enjoyed many genres of music but mostly enjoyed Edm music, the artist Afrojack and going to festivals and concerts.

Adam enjoyed football and wrestling. He lettered all four years in high school in both sports. He loved watching pro football and was a diehard Cowboys fan.

Adam is survived by his parents, Ruben and Marci Morales; grandparents, A.C. and Lenora Morales; siblings, Ruben (Dawn) Morales Jr., Andrew Morales, Amiyah Morales and Macy Sanchez; niece, Mia Morales; his aunts and uncles; Margie (Manuel) Olivas, Melinda (Joe) Mora, Martin (Laura) Saldaña, Cindy Saldaña, Oscar (Debbie) Morales, Martin (Diana) Morales, Orilia (Darren) Swanson, Dora (Ron) Paris, Jamie (Alex) Morales, Daniel (Jamie) Morales; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martin Jr. and Josie Saldaña; and one uncle, Maurisio Saldaña.

Viewing and visitation will be held Sunday, June 22, 2014, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Grandview. The funeral service will be held Monday, June 23, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Grandview Nazarene Church, with burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery.
