Quiet week for police

MABTON – Mabton police have made eight arrests since last Friday, the majority of which were on outstanding warrants.

Among the arrests was one for a violation of a court order and one for fourth degree domestic violence assault. Two of the reported arrests were on traffic violation charges.

Mabton officers also investigated three assaults, provided one agency assist, contacted residents concerning a noise complaint and a report of a theft in the 100 block of South Third Street, which remains under investigation.
