Calls continue to roll in to G’view police

GRANDVIEW – Police in Grandview investigated a theft report made yesterday afternoon (Monday) from the 100 block of East Bonnieview Road. The victim reported that gasoline had been siphoned out of a vehicle.

Yesterday afternoon officers also investigated a report of a hit and run accident in the 600 block of West Wine Country road. An unknown vehicle struck a chain-link fence and gate at a business.

Police also are investigating several graffiti taggings in the 900 block of Division Street and the 100 block of Nicka Road. The vandalism was discovered yesterday morning.

Police also responded yesterday to six calls about suspicious activity, two noise complaints, a report of illegal drugs, a report of an assault, an automatic alarm, a domestic violence call, a report of a runaway juvenile and a report of lost property.

Yesterday, officers also provided a funeral escort and assisted citizens twice. This morning police also investigated a report of unsecured premises.
