Elpidia Pulido, 80, of Outlook, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, at her home in Outlook.

She was born March 5, 1928 in Jalisco, Mexico to Filemon and Cornelia (Farias) Calderon. In 1954 she married Jesus Pulido Valencia in Mexico and later they moved to the United States.

She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her nine children, Luis Pulido (Debbie), Nat Pulido (Angie), Molly Pulido (Rafael), Jesse Pulido (Lupe), Joel Pulido (Maria G.), Lilia Plata (Bill), Mary Lopez (Mario), Naomi Fernandez (Alfredo) and Abel Pulido (Nora); 25 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Maria Guadalupe Cuevas of Sunnyside.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers; and one sister.

Viewing and visitation will be held Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, from 5 to 8 p.m., with an evening service at 6 p.m. at the Apostolic Assembly, 1510 East Lincoln Ave. in Sunnyside. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at 10 a.m. at the Apostolic Assembly, with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
