Letha Schryvers, 88, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at Roo-Lan Healthcare Center in Lacey.

She was born on March 9, 1920 in Kabo, Mont., the youngest of seven children to Losson and Jennie Johnson. When she was 15 her family moved to Grandview to farm on Wasson Road. She graduated from Grandview High School.

She married Dale Schryvers on July 17, 1941. She loved her home and remained there until September 2007 when she moved to Lacey.

She is survived by her daughters, Evelyn French of Hillsboro, Ore. and Darleen O'Donnell of Olympia; three grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; and sixteen nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Schryvers.

Graveside services will be held Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
