Hospice support appreciated

What a great talent show on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2007, at the Sunnyside High School Auditorium, a benefit for Lower Valley Hospice and Palliative Care.

The Leadership Class of 24 students, under the leadership of teacher Dave Martinez, should be commended for planning, preparing and producing a very entertaining event. Rachelle Durfey, Erika Garcia, Natasha Daniel and Carly Dahlstrom, event co-coordinators, the students in the class, Dan Aguilar and the volunteer crew that helped with the sound and stage have our applause.

We thank the sponsors that provided raffle items as well as our wonderful community for the support given. A gift of $3,361.58 will assist Lower Valley Hospice and Palliative Care in providing a very specialized care for your families, friends and neighbors in Yakima and Benton Counties with end-of-life care.

Thank you! Thank you!
