Thirty-one reports made to Sunnyside police

An automobile theft, a theft of a handgun and a burglary topped the 31 reports and/or calls made to the Sunnyside Police Department yesterday, Jan. 17.

A Chevrolet Impala was discovered stolen from a home in the 700 block of South 10th Street after the owner returned from a trip, a handgun was reported missing from the 1000 block of South 13th Street and a neighbor discovered a home had been broken into in the 800 block of Upland Drive.

Sunnyside police also responded to one automatic alarm call, three animal problems, two assaults, one failure to return leased property report, one graffiti report, one 9-1-1 hang up, one runaway juvenile report, five reports of suspicious persons and/or circumstances, seven traffic problems, one arrest warrant served, two agency assist calls, one extra patrol, one recovered stolen vehicle and one found property report.
