G'view police respond to two thefts

GRANDVIEW - Among the 24 incidents Grandview police responded to yesterday, two involved reports of theft.

At 6:42 a.m. yesterday an electric air compressor valued between $150 to $300 was stolen from the 300 block of Davie Road. There are no suspects in the case.

Police responded to a report of identity theft at 4:12 p.m. yesterday in the 100 block of Apache. Police said the incident allegedly involved a credit card used without permission by someone the victim knew.

More than $800 in charges were rung up on the card, said police, who noted they have a person of interest in the case.
