Railroad crossing repairs planned
GRANDVIEW – Motorists are being advised to avoid Euclid Road
for five days, beginning Friday morning, July 21.
City of Grandview officials have announced that Euclid Road,
from Wine Country Road to Bonnieview, will be closed to motorists so work crews
can make repairs to the railroad crossing at that site.
That section of roadway is expected to be reopened to
motorists the afternoon of Tuesday, July 25.
S’side to continue chip/crack sealing work next week
Road repair crews will continue performing chip/crack
sealing on numerous Sunnyside streets next week.
The work is planned for next Monday, July 10, through
Thursday, July 13. Motorists are being advised that the streets won’t be closed
all day long, but that they should expect detours or delays throughout each of
the four days.
The street repair work is planned for 14
from Lincoln Avenue to the south end, 15
Street from Lincoln
Avenue to the south end, Golden Street from Lincoln Avenue to the south end,
Riverside Avenue from Swan Road to Grandview Avenue, Swan Road from Cherry
Avenue to Riverside Avenue, and Fifth Street from Harrison Avenue to Edison
